Our Bushfire Response

Picture

OperationTinyHomes
for Bushfire Victims

Our hearts are breaking for everyone who has lost a loved one, or a home,
or the land and animals they love.

Our hearts go out to all those who were evacuated from their country
and didn't know when they'd be able to return.

We stand beside everyone who lost their home and those who feel anxious
and uncertain about what lies ahead.
The 2019/2020 bushfire season was a catastrophe of EPIC proportions.
1000's and 1000's are now left homeless by the unprecendented conditions across Australia.
How will people rebuild their homes, how will they rebuild their shattered lives?

The 2019/2020 Australian Bushfires have been the most destructive we have ever seen. Thousands of people are displaced. Thousands of people are now homeless. This is almost beyond our comprehension as a nation. The aftermath of these fires is going to be enormous. The human cost is unimaginable. Please donate to help people rebuild their shattered lives.

Please donate to help the rebuild.

At Container of Dreams we could not sit back and watch these catastrophic events unfold and not do something.
Our mission is to help people into housing, so that's what we're doing.
We have extended our programs to include those who have lost their homes in the fires.
Read about our Tiny House program here...

We are currently fundraising to raise money to build tiny houses for people made homeless
by these devastating bushfires.
Whole towns have been wiped out. Whole communities have been razed to the ground.
The rebuilding process is going to enormous and lengthy.

Over 2500 homes have been lost and it is estimated that around 65% of these will not be insured.
That is an enormous amount of people who are now homeless with no way of rebuilding their homes.

We are building Tiny Homes for those who lost their houses in the fires.
This way they can return to their properties.
They will have somewhere safe to stay, out of the elements,
while they contemplate their next move in the recovery process.

Please help us help them.
