Housing affordability has reached crisis levels in Australia and has emerged as a key priority area for governments and social welfare groups. Housing and community experts agree that new thinking and strategic reform is urgently needed for the future of the Australian housing market. More innovation and imaginative ways of dealing with housing affordability is the way forward. This includes opportunities to create visionary and innovative housing projects.
Container of Dreams aim is to build creative temporary housing options while continuing to work towards our long-term goal of providing permanent, affordable housing to the disadvantaged.
Container of Dreams Ltd has been strongly inspired by the work and impact of Habitat for Humanity. Our policies and programs have been guided and influenced by their example. However at Container of Dreams we are an inclusive, independent organisation and not affiliated with any religious or political groups.
We aim to assist Women in need with Crisis, Emergency, Transitional and Permanent Housing Options.
Container of Dreams is currently exploring ways to implement a new and innovative housing community in the Northern Rivers region of NSW.

Our History |
Container of Dreams was first conceived in 2014 to offer an alternative pathway to property ownership to those who may not gain access to housing in the conventional way.
We became a registered charity in 2019. United by a common vision, our supporters and volunteers span many beliefs and backgrounds. We are a member of ACOSS, The Australian Council of Social Services. We are a member of The Australian Men's Shed Association.
